Nina Yakubov, Esq. is a bilingual immigration attorney and founder of Yakubov Law, P.A., based in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. As a Russian-American legal professional, Ms. Yakubov brings a personal and compassionate approach to her work, helping families and individuals navigate complex U.S. immigration systems.
She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where she graduated summa cum laude, ranked first in her class, and earned numerous academic honors. Her undergraduate studies in Criminal Justice at John Jay College (CUNY), where she maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA, laid the foundation for her commitment to justice and advocacy.
Prior to founding her firm, Ms. Yakubov gained practical experience as an immigration paralegal and law clerk, and later passed the Florida Bar on her first attempt with one of the top scores in the state. Her practice focuses on removal defense, asylum, family-based immigration, citizenship, consular processing, and VAWA.
Passionate about immigrant rights, she also dedicates time to pro bono work supporting underserved communities. Fluent in English and Russian, Ms. Yakubov is known for her integrity, empathy, and tireless work ethic.
